Free SEO tools

Three things we needed and could not find a good free version of. No sign-up, no email, no upload — they run entirely in your browser.

  • Meta description generator

Write a meta description and see exactly how it will be truncated, with a search preview that measures real pixel width.

Almost every free alternative counts characters. Google truncates on pixel width, so a description of wide letters is cut around 140 characters while a narrow one survives past 165. This measures the actual thing.

  • Schema markup generator

Build valid JSON-LD for local businesses, organisations, services, FAQs, articles and breadcrumbs.

It validates structure, not eligibility — passing here does not mean Google will grant a rich result, and the page says so.

  • llms.txt generator

Paste a sitemap and get a valid llms.txt describing what your site covers, for AI assistants that read one.

Adoption is voluntary and no major AI provider has committed to reading it. Cheap insurance, not a ranking factor.

Why they are free

They cost nothing to run. There is no backend, no API key and no account, so there is nothing to charge for and nothing to gate. Gating them would kill the only thing they are good for, which is being used and linked.

Nothing you paste is uploaded anywhere. That is not a privacy policy commitment, it is a description of the architecture — there is no server to upload it to.
